On 05.05.2006 Black Alert presents the Darkshow Minifestival 2006. We are proud to announce that
Mortiis, Red 7,
x.lover and
In Vein are going to be performing!
Of course our DJ Team will be spinning the tables in between sets!
The festival is going to be held at our regular location, Sin Pecado, Øvre Vollgate. 13. Tickets: NOK 100,-. ID: 18. Time: 20.00 - 03.30.

Mortiis
Mortiis began his journey down an ever-evolving path in the early 90s as a singular mastermind
who a decade later would be the namesake of Mortiis' full-band incarnation. Today they enjoy huge
success both in Norway and abroad. Musically they sound like a twisted mixture of electronics,
fierce guitars and explosive drums. The latest album, called "The Grudge", blends melody with
noise in a way never heard before. Following the album two singles were released and they both
entered the UK Billboard charts. Mortiis' hardhitting music combined with a breathtaking liveshow is what
makes them a natural headliner for our festival.

Red 7
From the hometown of Zeromancer, a new promising band has emerged. Red 7 is their name, and they are coming at you full-force.
With a blend of old-school EBM and modern Synthpop they tend to make a solid impression on their audience. With a lot of
festival gigs behind them their reputation as a liveband keeps on growing. Bring on the electronic assault!

X.Lover
Synthbass, dirty beats, sonic guitar noise and immortal lyrics. Add some sweat on the walls and you have the perfect description of
X.Lover at work. In 2003 their EP "Kick It" saw the light of day, and it got a lot of attention. As a result of this, the band took
off and toured all over Europe to rave reviews. The band recently got back from New York where they recorded their first album and shot
a music video. X.Lover haven't played in Oslo for a long time, so don't miss out on this one!

In Vein
In Vein consists of four hard working guys - all of whom have experience from other bands, such as Gothminister, Skin Diseace and
Anax Imperator. Musically you could describe their sound as dance friendly Synthpop with a dark edge to it.
Lately they have been playing a lot at different clubs in Oslo and their fans have increased massively in numbers.
In Vein are currently working on their first album.
